COMPLIANCE, VERIFICATION AND REVIEW (Including data accuracy)
As part of our continuing review of First Rung’s Quality Improvement Plan, the Chief Executive and the Quality Manager meet monthly to review all Policies and Procedures in our Cyclical Review. Each policy and procedure is assigned to a month for review, which includes checking whether the organisation is in compliance: this is further checked through independent verification.
Actions are agreed and monitored for completion at each review meeting.Policies and procedures are examined before their review date where any changes in law, statute or Good Practice affect our activities.
Quality data checks for accuracy are also monitored by the Quality Manager. Monthly checks and reconciliations are made between the Finance Department and the Quality Department.
Additional data quality and accuracy checks are made by the Quality Department through monthly spots checks on learners’ ‘Blue Folders’ and files, along with assessing performance against profile.
All quality and accuracy checks are fed back to the Chief Executive through monthly Performance, Compliance and Verification meetings. Notes of these meetings are available on request to the LSC.
