Working with children is very rewarding but it’s not all child’s play.
If you want a career in Childcare you’ll need to develop basic knowledge and understanding of the needs of young children and well as recognised qualifications.
Our level 1 course in Working with Children is the first step on the childcare career ladder and will help you understand your role in supporting children’s development.
After you have completed your qualification you can progress on to a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Childcare or Level 2 course at college.

You don’t need to have any previous qualifications. Our staff will help you to find the right level of qualification for you using our diagnostic assessments.
Our Childcare courses involve working with young children and your employer may ask you to complete a Criminal Record check or CRB.
If you have a caution or conviction you may not be able to do a work placement as part of your course depending on the type of offence.
