Learner success story - A Learner
This Learner joined First Rung’s E2E programme in October after finding six form at school (Albany) a lot harder than she thought it would be.
She gained L1 Key Skills Communication, L1 Working with Children (NCFE) along with L1 Numeracy. While working on her NCFE Working with Children qualification she also gained three months work experience at a local nursery.
Thanks to her hard work and commitment she has now gained employment with them.
Due to her hard work and determination she is progressing onto our Apprenticeship programme having gained the backing of her employer (Butterflies nursery in Edmonton).
She feels First Rung has supported her to gain her qualifications and without this support she would not have succeeded. First Rung has given her confidence to gain new skills for employment and the confidence to progress onto L3 in Childcare Learning and Development.
She says “I never thought I could achieve so much when I joined First Rung, looking back I feel I have gained a lot of qualifications”.
