Learners' Health & Safety
We regard your welfare, health and safety as very important.
Please ensure that you:
Read and obey all the notices concerning safety both in the training centres and at your place of work.
Comply with all health and safety requirements in the training centres, outdoor pursuits and your place of work. The appropriate First Rung member of staff will give you further information about what these are.
Don’t lark about as this can cause accidents and lead to your dismissal or suspension which means you will not get paid.
Report any hazards or dangers that you see to a member of staff.
Report any defects in facilities or equipment to a member of staff.
Report any accidents you have, no matter how small, to your Centre Manager or Learner Support and ensure that they are entered in the accident book.
Read your copy of “Be Safe” booklet given to you on induction.
Make sure you know who your First Aider is in the training centre (these are clearly marked on the walls) and at your place of work.
