An Apprenticeship is package training, qualifications and experience that you work towards whilst you are employed doing a real job and earning a wage of £136.50 - £150 per week.
Our Apprenticeships are open to young people aged 16 – 23 who are looking to stay ahead of the game in an increasingly competitive jobs market. We provide you with CV and interview support and help you to find employment too.
If you are already in employment, our apprenticeship programme will allow you to develop the knowledge and skills you need to progress your career.
Apprenticeships are government funded so you don’t have to worry about paying tuition fees or repaying a student load once you’ve achieved your qualification.
You can enrol on a First Rung Apprenticeship at any point in the year.
Apprenticeships are made up of 3 parts:
This is a portfolio based method of assessment where you are able to demonstrate your understanding of your job role in your chosen working environment.
You are able to achieve Level 1 or 2 qualifications in English, Maths and ICT.
You may not have to do the Functional Skills element of the course depending on your GCSE results or previous qualifications.
This helps you to understand the theory behind your Apprenticeship and allows you to develop your knowledge of your vocational subject.
