More about work experience
How many hours will I have to work?
This depends on the programme you are on. Your Employment Engagement Officer will tell you what times you will start and finish. If you work on weekends or a Bank Holiday you will be given time off at a later date.
Timekeeping is not my strong point, what happens if I am late?

Whilst you are in training we will treat you as though you were employed. Therefore as you would expect when you have a job, you are expected to arrive at least 5 minutes before your start time in the morning and come back from all break times on time.
If you are late to a training session:
Your lateness will be recorded in the register and on your time sheet
The session will NOT be stopped for you to catch up
Your trainer will try to speak with you about what you have missed either at the end of the session or at another convenient time during the session
You may be referred to the Centre Manager to receive a work pack which you must complete in a different place to the session room
