What Our Learners Receive 

A Personalised Careers Experience 

Each learner receives support to understand and identify their personal strengths, skills and areas for development. Progress is monitored throughout the programme to ensure that guidance and support are tailored to their individual needs. 

Access to High-Quality Careers Information 

Learners are given access to up-to-date careers and labour market information, enabling them to explore a range of career pathways and make informed decisions about their future. 

Integration of Careers into Learning 

Employability skills are embedded across the curriculum. Learners develop key skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving, while gaining an understanding of how these skills are valued in the workplace. 

Opportunities to Engage with Employers 

Learners benefit from encounters with employers through careers events, guest speakers and workplace-focused activities. These opportunities help them understand employer expectations and industry standards. 

Preparation for the Workplace 

The programme supports learners in developing professional behaviours, including punctuality, reliability and effective communication. Where appropriate, learners may also participate in work-related learning experiences. 

Progression and Next Steps 

Learners are guided through the process of preparing for their next steps, including: 

  • Creating and maintaining a professional CV and cover letter 

  • Developing interview skills 

  • Receiving impartial careers advice and guidance
